|
|
Hello everybody,
I am new here and am still learning things. I have 2 pictures opened in Photoshop. I want to drag & drop one into another but it is a vector image and it is so big that I then need to scale it for a long time.
How can I drag & drop this same picture so that I will not need to scale it.
Also a sub-question is, how can I center it on the horizontal center.
Thanks |

Drag and drop from one image to the other using the move tool, or use File > Place to browse for the other image and place it in the (photoshop will place it as a smart object, which has various extra uses - and limitations, and will fit it to the size that will fit the canvas without stretching proportions)/
While in Free Transform mode, you can also give in percentages at the top which should make down scaling by lot less tedious than dragging the corner in all the time.
On your sub-question, it's whilst holding Alt (or Option on a Mac). _________________ Bart J.A.H. de Brouwer |

Thank you for your question. File > Place this worked.
What did not work is the center placement. Dont know what you mean with Alt key.
Thanks for your help |
