|

Hey everybody,
Since a while it's impossible to use adjustment layers in my Photoshop (cs4).
Here's what happens:
I select Layer, New Adjustment Layer (hue/saturation f.e.) Then I get the chance to name the layer.
Now after that I should be able to adjust my hue/saturation. This is not the case. Once I click OK after naming my Layer, it goes straight to the layer palette, showing a new adjustment layer.
Even when i double click in my adjustment layer pictogram I can't edit the adjustments. (hue/saturation in this case, but nothing works)
Looks like I somehow lost the ability to use adjustment layers. Regular adjustments are possible though.
I've been searching to solve this problem all over without succes.. Hope you guys/girls know what's up.
Thanks in advance! |

What colour space/profile is your image in? RGB? Grayscale?.... _________________ If life serves you lemons, make lemonade! |

I would love to know if you found an answer to your adjustment layers not working, mine is doing the exact same thing. Once I click on any adjustment layer and I name it, i can't do anything....I can't double click the pictogram in the layers menu, the adjustment layer just all of the sudden is in my layers palette without ever having any adjusting.
Please help, I am SOO frustrated! |

I know this post is really old, but I'm having the same problem right now and I can't find a solution anywhere!
If someone could respond I'd be extremely grateful! |

Can you open an image, press f12 and then copy and paste that into a new document in Photoshop, save it and then post it as a full screen JPEG? It may help members who wish to help. _________________ If life serves you lemons, make lemonade! |
