|

Not sure if this can be done, i have a web development project to start but have been given a lot of PSD files. Normally this would be ok as i would just bounce them to HTML. The problem i have is they are all set to 300dpi. Is there a quick way to convert them to 72dpi? I don't like the idea of have to convert each layer.
Any help will be greatly appreciated |

Image -> Image Size -> Uncheck resample image and change 300 dpi to 72 dpi.
Tbh, it isn't necessary to do so (imho) the thing with changing resolutions is it doesn't change any actual pixel dimensions 1080p will remain 1080p for example with 300dpi or 72 dpi the measurements in inches/mm will differ though. DPI resolution either displays how many dots a printer prints on an inch or how many pixels a screen has in one inch - changing the resolution does nothing about file size.
Tbh, I'd change it, I know when I'm looking back through PSD files I come across files which I'm not sure of were for web or for print and checking the resolution helps when I do that. You will still need to change the actual pixel size though. _________________ Bart J.A.H. de Brouwer |
