What's the difference between the brightness in the Brightness / Contrast window adnd the brightness in the Hue/ saturation window? |

Thank you thehermit for the link. It seems to be a bit too mathematical though. I guess the best way to discover the difference is through trying both "brightnesses" on a number of images and seeing the effects. |
