Is Elements a subset of Photoshop? If I have PS does that mean I have all the functionality available in Elements? |

Elements is to Photoshop what training wheels are to a bike. It's the cheaper "baby" image editor that normal non-designer people are supposed to use instead of the professional application that is Photoshop. The idea is to get you used to using an image editor so you become proficient then maybe want to learn more so you will pay a small fortune to use Photoshop or if you're not looking to become that skilled to at least sell you some kind of beginning graphics program. Photoshop is a far more intensive application than Elements though there are some common denominators. |
