Hey all PS freaks.

I am currently working on a project that involves using one shape at a time and grouping layers that are of the same color that I want. This project is based around the 141 web safe colors, so I need to have 141 different groups with each group representing one of the web safe colors. To understand better what I mean, I have already created a graphics pack similar to the project I am working on now. If you read what it says in Module 3, you will see what I am trying to accomplish. www.ultimateimgraphicspackv1.com

Once I have duplicated the first group 140 times, I then go into each group respectively and change the color of the next group until I have 141 group all with different colors.

To save the colored file individually, I created an action of me saving each group inidividually. On playback, it saves each colored file in a folder using the name of the color.

So what I would like to know from you knowledgeable people, is there a way to cut down the time in all the repetitveness? Would you do it differently that would save time? Is there an action or batch that you know of that I can use to accomplish the same result?

I appreciate any response given.

How would you go about that? I have never worked with scripts before, just actions.

See the Scripting folder in your PS install directory.

Any other way? I don't really have time to learn how to script especially with what I am trying to accomplish.

OK. Does anyone know a script that will change an objects color from #FFFFFF to #330000? I should be able to add to it.

I am working on something that requires the same thing. I have a list of hex codes and I need to swap out the fill color for 128 images. I could do it by hand but it would be nice to automate it.
