Please review the attached image. It's a low res version of the original. As you can see the knot on the tie has fallen and i need to fix that. Can someone tell me which techniques (with tutorials if possible) I could use to do this? I'm a beginner user, fyi.

Welcome to the forum.
It's going to be a case of copy and paste. Using either the pen tool or the polygonal lasso tool, cut out the tie from jacket bottom to the knot. Ctrl+J to promote the selection to a new layer and nudge it into place with the move tool. Add a layer mask to this layer and paint in black over the areas of the knot that protrude beyond the collar. Create a new layer and clone the missing details appropriately or use a selection from the good side of the tie.
