Hi all, I've got a question.

How do i achieve the following result, using a text layer, a picture of wood, making use of blending modes?

Thanks!!

Honestly, I think it's really high res and therefor hard to reproduce, but I've been messing around a little coming up with this result.

I guess I could do it if I have the time, but I don't and it's not worth the effort to me.

My hints on trying to figure it out are:
-Use Soft Light for the text.
-Use Bevel & Emboss to create the inward shape (I didn't do that and as you see, mine looks flat)
-Recoloring is important!

Thank you for the answer, I'll try experimenting with your guidelines

But I don't really understand what you mean by recoloring.
Do you mean making the logo darker?
