Hello there, Im new to this forum so please save your hash comments. Anyway I'm using adobe photoshop and dreamweaver cs6, and i have designed a website for my mate and sliced it up to make links in dreamweaver. If I preview this website in google chrome or firefox or safari its ok, but if i use internet explorer it shows all my slices and makes gaps inbetween the slices which makes the website look nothing like its supposed to. Here is a link to the website ( www.ccpaints.co.uk ). Can someone please help me how to get rid of there spaces between slices in ie? |

Welcome to the forum. I don't have IE so I won't be able to help I'm afraid and I know less about code than I do about most things. I hope this acts as a bump for the thread and someone can help.
I put your URL into www.browsershots.org and I didn't refresh the browser (F5) more than twice, but the screenshot for IE9 didn't show any problems. A few came back with errors but the majority I looked at looked fine. The website may help you and don't forget to refresh the browser to get the new browsers it finds. _________________ If life serves you lemons, make lemonade! |

Hi xBl4cKH4wKz (yea yea, copy&paste), welcome to the forums
First of all I'd like to say that IE sucks
That said, using tables for your layout is outdated. It's better to use div tags along with a good CSS style sheet.
On a final note, you shouldn't let Photoshop slice your page. It's better to use "layer based slices". |
