Greetings:

This is my second post on the forum. I have downloaded the 30 day trial of Photoshop CS6 extended from Adobe. I am wondering what the most effective way of learning Photoshop is?

I have used much earlier versions before but the new version is somewhat Greek to me.

I am not a professional. It is a hobby.

Any suggestions? Can I buy or get Photoshop anyplace that is less expensive that from Adobe.

Thank you.

Welcome to the forum. I would look in to student editions and see if you can qualify. I hear that the basis of entry is pretty wide. Failing that you could license the software on the new 'cloud' system, perhaps a cheaper way if you don't keep your PS version for more than a couple of years.
