long ago i was using a nice vortex filter but after upgrading to OSX it stopped working. i THINK it was KPTools which is now defunct right? is there another good vortex filter that will function similarly to the KPT vortex filter. i've googled it many times....

Photoshop has one built in...
Filter > Distort > Twirl
