I am a phtoshop newbie. I recently took a picture of this zebra, however because there were few leaves in my focusing range, shades of green show up on the zebra skin. i would like to know how to remove this green color and show the zebra's true skin color.

Thanks

I believe you could try to desaturate those areas, or color select.
It is very difficult to repair this problem, mostly on the legs.

I did what costisefu recommended, desaturated and then masked in the grass and a quick levels to boost the blacks. 30 secs of scruffy work, my masking was atrocious.Blush

If you wanted to get rid of that texture then you could use FFT plugin (free if you do a search).

You could also use some other adjustment layers to tidy it up, but for some images it may be overkill.
