Use 3D tools in PS Extended.

1. Create Black to White gradient layer.
2. Add Curves addjustment layer. In the Curves dialog make the profile of your strip curve form.
3. Select both gradient and Curves layer and go to 3D->New Mesh from Grayscale->Plane.
4. Open Diffuse texture, delete all the layers and add your strip layer. Use mask to make "holes" in it. Save.

Basicallly, it's all. Use Object Rotate tool to choose the best angle, set lights, etc.

And of course you can always adjust the curvature of your strip. Just open the Depth map texture and change the Curves settings.
