It's a good image, perhaps there is something a little 'feminine' around the eyes. I appreciate the 'Floyd' feel of the shirt though.
Overall I think it needs to be a little darker and broodier, but that's just me

Thanks Hermit, I think you're right about the darker and broodier aspect. My first exposure to Floyd was in 1969, and I was trying to convey that feeling of that great 60's psychedelia. In the photo I was working from, it looked like he had black mascara all around his eyes so that's why the eyes came out like that.

It wasn't the eyeshadow so much as perhaps the smoothness of the skin around the cheeks/eyes. It's more 'Ride a white swan' Bolanesque rather then dark side of the moon

There's something off with the face I think, and I'm not sure with how you mixed in the green at the bottom. It all seems a bit random and I don't think it ties well with the other parts of the picture.

Thanks for that, I appreciate it. somebody always sees what I don't, and that's what makes this forum great. I actually re-did the image as it always bothered me. If you're interested, you can see it here on my deviant art page:

Having no real artistic bent, this kinda sticks in my craw. However I prefer the first versions body posture. In the second iteration it looks like he has no neck.
I do like some of the other changes though and whilst I don't expect you to revisit the work on my behalf, I may have made the skin a little less ashen.
I still admire your talent though, in the round
