Need a bit of help. Dont know if its in the right section or not either, but this is probably a total noob question but hey. Anyways trying to recreate the front of DMC HD collection. Now i got the images etc however i came across a problem, in that the images are bigger than they should be. I've used image size using the shift key, image scaling etc but no joy. images below to show what i mean.
Orginal Cover
My Cover
As you can tell the original covers centre image goes from the end of the second X to the first dark green line. But on mine it goes from the end of the B to the dark green line. So how can i manipulate the image so i keep the same image height and quality, but make the image narrower like the orginal.
Like i say totally noob question, but i'm just trying to learn the ins and out of photoshop. |

hi,
it looks llike the orginal and your copy have different different aspect ratio which make it alittle if your trying to duplicate...you may want to change your image to the same ratio it would make things easier i thin... but anyway//
one thing you might try... if you have cs4 or cs5
you can try using content aware scale in your edit menu if your not resizing too much you can change the width and keep the hiegth appx the same and having very little if any distortion.. |
