Hello people with photoshopskills!

I'm looking for the best technique to change the color and upholstery fabrics on sofas. I've been looking a long time but can't find a good technique.

Its the same technique homepages with furniture use.

hi,
well my thoughts...
i always look for the simplist and easiest that works for me.. smiling...

replacing a fabric,,,
1. one meathod i use and it depends on the orginal having enough shadows, and sometime i'll edit to enphase the shadow... anyway.. using displacement map... if you never used this little video tutorial shows the basics...
http://www.fstutorials.com/tutorial/photoshop/displace-map-wrap-texture-around-an-object-/8989/
2. another way... is maybe using the distor tool this is again a little basic tutorial
http://www.fstutorials.com/tutorial/photoshop/wrap-picture-around-any-object-in-photoshop/10925/

now color changes...
there a lot of different ways.... and again depends on the image...

1. one meathod is just paint with color of choice but set your brush mode to COLOR ...
2. another meathod .. is using the replace color feature....

and others... now this video, my favorite , which you can download.... has about 7 or 8 meathods for changing color including the replacement .. it the very first one in the video ... but view all the others in the video ...
