Hello Everyone
I was wondering if there is a way to do this.
Say I have a predominantly yellow image, and I want to change that image to blue, however I only want specific blues to show up that I have already pre-set in a saved colour table/colour swatch.
Is there a way to do this?
Thanks!

Hi!
Thanks so much for replying you went to lots of trouble to attach all those links!
However I have been able to save the custom swatches I wanted, I guess I was wondering if there was a way to apply that swatch/set of colours to the image so that it would take on those colours? Sorry if my wording wasn't that clear...

It's a bit above my paygrade, I'm afraid, but it sounds like you may need something like a gradient map. It allows you to 'map' certain colours to an image. I use gradient maps for evening out skin tones, but they have a wide array of uses. _________________ If life serves you lemons, make lemonade! |

hi
I think I know now what you mean...
my old photofinish program i could.
let say i applied a tint to a image .... well the color table would of course change because of the tint, and i could then save that specific changed color table and appllied to a entirely different image....
but in photoshop i can't really do that... for one it never shows you the true color table of a image... at least i can't find it ... the only place where i get a half decenst display of the true color table of image is if i go to save for the web and pick gif or png8 ... then i can see the true table... ...
but i haven't found anything like that in photoshop like that in photofinish .. |

Thanks everyone for your input!
I was just hoping that there would be an easier way to change the color/saturation/hue etc etc without having to write down/take note of all the numbers and having to put them back in each time for the next set of images to make it them all the same. That maybe using a selection of already saved colors in a swatch or pallette would save some time!! LOL
If only I could select "those colors" and "hit apply to image button" and it would change...
Sorry if it seems complex what I want to do but in my head I'm thinking theres gotta be an easier way!!
Thanks again
