I am a digital scrapbooker and have some brushes I've purchased of flowers, butterflies and some other stuff I think is cool. I spent a fair amount of time trying to color these things to look natural with many layers and blending options under my belt but I would like to find some tuts or a book that might help with this.
I'm not looking for fantasy stuff just what is a good way to color a flower brush and have it look nice.
There are many tuts out there but most of what I found had fairly clean lines. That is not the case with many of my brushes.
Thank you in advance.

Thank you! It is all in how you word your search isn't it? You are right, the first choice is closest but I would like something more custom. This will get me started though and I can pop a bit of my own creativity in. Thank you so much! |

hi,
your welcome...
at least for me.,. a lot depends on how you search..... and the keywords...
i always use in my phrase photoshop tutorial and then I thnik about agood keyword which i think might work.. sometimes i end up using different key words to find what i want... and many times it not always obvious what works.
in your case i used photoshop tutorial multicolor brushes
another way to search is along your subject photoshop tutorial colorizing flowers
in tha case i found this one today .. that you might find usefull.....

just a final thought since your into scrapbooking you might be interest in "out of bound" effect .... you can sort of make person or object looklike it jumping out of a picture.. or your flowers spilling out.. this is basic tutorial... of what i mean
