There are a few plugins out there that can turn one photo into an HDR, do you recommend one? |

Thanks, I'll give it a try.
jerryb4417, sometimes I think that all these plugins do is increase the contrast and saturation a bit. I mean do we really need a dedicated plugin for this? |

hi,
before iforget that particular plugin is only for 32 bit photoshop ... noe//
there more involved than just contrast and saturation.. that alone won't do it...
generally several layers involved and sometime you have to work with lab and channels to ge the desired effect ..... it can be time consumming ...
you may want to take a look at this single image hdr tutorial,, you'll notice there is several layers involved a lot of steps...
http://dylancolon.wordpress.com/2011/02/08/photoshop-tutorial-single-image-hdr/
now there is a feature called hdr tone, it can simplify the process and you may not need a plug in ... I don't know when started putting that feature into photoshop... i know my old cs1 didn't have it
the idea of plugin is to make your job easier,,, in addition although photoshop is great however... it can't do all things great many time these thirdpary plugin more easy to use or give a better results...
in fact you'll see the difference when you start playing around with the demo version of that plug in and then look at that hdr tutorial ... |
