In the channel panel I have deactivated the Green which created a really neat color in my original photo. Problem is, I don't know how or if it is possible to make this new color permanent. I've tried many things, but anytime I try to add things on top of this layer, the picture either reverts back to the original color, or everything I place in the picture becomes covered with the new color.
My goal is to make the channel the new picture so that I can work on top of it. Can anyone help me on this?
Thanks,

Thanks Hermit. I found the channel mixer and was able to create the color I wanted. I'm still running into the problem of making this color essentially a new photo to work with though. Anything I try to place on top of the pink color turns pink itself.
I'm relatively new to PS, so is it possible for you (or someone else) to simplify this step?
Thank you. |
