Old photo album style corners, can't find a tut anywhere!

I'm after a tutorial or source file for some photo album style corners. The style is an old fashioned style, where you would have to push the corners of the photo through the paper, so that the corners are hidden.

I have tried creating a line and then applying a shadow, but it just doesn't look very good.

I hope I have explained this well enough and someone can help me out, thanks.

I think I know what you want, but for me it would have to be a process of trial and error. I would try emboss and shadows (layer styles). Would also try some layer "blend modes" to with various textures.
