Just got CS5 Extended. Trying to follow some tutorials on the web. Every time I try to do a 3D text in repouse it will not rasterise. i get a box saying it is a 'faux bold' type and can't be rasterised. This happens whatever font I use.
What am I doing wrong please?

I don't have Photoshop in front of me at the moment, but it sounds like you have the faux bold selected in character options rather than a genuine bold type selected. In the image attached the bottom left option is I guess on yours selected, make sure that it is not 'highlighted/selected'.

Without being at my computer this is just my best guess. Hope it works!

*edit* computer says no! I can't seem to attach the image, but if you bring up the character options panel, it's the bottom left bold T you need to ensure is not selected. */edit*

Thanks, that was exactly it. Somehow that option must have been selected.
