|
|
In Photoshop I am using the pent tool and creating the points. When I connect the last point and complete the path I am unable to move the pen drawing, I am not able to fill it with colors, I'm not able to do anything with it.
If I press "Enter" it disapears.
How to reproduce:
1. In photoshop use the Pen tool to create a shape and link all the points.
2. After connecting the last point try to move it via "Move" pointer.
3. After that doesn't work, press "Enter".
How can I create a pen shape tool AND move it around/manipulate it/fill it, etc. |

Don't use the 'Move' pointer, use the 'Path Selection Tool'. |

Thanks renata! I am now able to move the pen-drawn object that I created.
However, I'm still wondering why I cannot "fill" the object with a color. Whenever I try to "fill" the object it ignores the boundaries and fills the entire pallet. Any ideas there?
Thank You |

Look at the Paths palette (if you can't see it, click Window>Paths). There's a round icon at the bottom which is "Load path as selection". If you click this, you will have a selection which you can now edit>fill (or whatever else you'd like to do to a selection).
Hope that works for you. |
