|

Hello. I'm very much a Photoshop amateur--or, more correctly, aspiring to be an amateur. I'm facing the problem of fixing a large number of old (1920's+/- era) photos. They're in varying states of decay (attached is an example, with some quick fixes I've done). This particular sample is one of the worse ones as far as condition, but not the worst.
Any recommendations for shortcuts for this sort of thing--plugins or otherwise? It's bad enough I'm feeling my way through this w/o Photoshop experience, but there are also scores of pictures to work on.
The "after" doesn't necessarily represent best-effort. I know I can do more even with my modest-at-best knowledge, but the time will increase exponentially the more repairs I try (since I'm mostly be experimenting with things I'm not familiar with).
