Want to know how i can blend pictures for the web, something like this how can i create this?

http://www.yogaworks.com/~/media/Images/Hero%20Banner/Main/YW_Referral-home_slider_builder.ashx

How i can remove the sharp edge and make the image fade on one side and blend with the background?

The very easiest way is to make a new layer choose white as a colour then use a very soft large brush and paint out the parts you want, then you can make another new layer and insert the text when finished you can flatten the image if needed...
