|
|
Hello,
How to create darkening edges to an infographic. As done here: http://www.wsop.com/news/2010/Jul/2989/WSOP-IN-THE-MONEY.html
I used a brush and held down shift to do all 4 stripes, but since one line was ontop of another it was twice as dark and a mess alltogether.
Can you do it with a square and sed a blurry line for the square somehow?!
Thanks a lot! |

Like anything else in PS there are many ways to do things. This is one quick and easy, Filter-Lens Correction-Custom-Vignette. |

Thanks. But as the infographic is shaped as a long rectangle the top and bottom tips only get darkened. Any solutions?
ps I'm new at this. |

Hi Preedik, Hawkeye has pretty much given you the solution as far as I can see. Are you having problems? _________________ If life serves you lemons, make lemonade! |

You could also do it with a solid color (black) adjustment layer. Then mask off the center area, feathering it to get a soft effect. Adjust the opacity as desired. |
