Hi, I am still learning photoshop and need to remove the shadows from around these people's face. Can anyone suggest the best way? I have googled and tried a few methods but I just cannot figure out how to get rid of shadows and background when it comes to people's hair. Thank you. |

Hair, especially when there isn't much contrast with the background, takes a lot of time and patience. And even then it may not be perfect. I did this relatively fast, so it isn't perfect.

The more time you spend the better it could be. For the large area I cut out a section of bare wall and put it on it's own layer. Moved it over the shadow area and painted out what I didn't want with a layer mask. Smaller areas, I used the clone tool and or just painted over. Always use layers. I also cloned out the hairs on the lady's shoulder. |

Good job... not bad. but The way I'd do it was cutting out the whole couple and then make a fake gradient at the back ... _________________ Add your Business and be part of a new Business Video Directory revolution : )
