I want to remove the blue tinting from a image, how is this possible? I've tried changing transparency, adding a white color patch on top with varying opacity, but doesn't seem to work well. 
This is a window reflection file for a game.
I want to remove the blue tint, so that the in-game window won't have so much color distortion. But if I just adjust the transparency or put a translucent white color on top of it, I will also loose the graphic textures (the window textures). I wan't to remove the blue tint but still retain the textures in the image.
Anyone know how to do this?
Sorry if this is a newbie question, I have done basic photoshopping in the past, and sorry for my ignorance.
I'm using a very old version of Adobe Fireworks. Anyone with photoshop instructions I will appreciate. Thanks!

I took your image added a colourise hue sat layer
then a white layer on top adjusted layer style added an outer glow and opacity then I also put a slight coloured layer on top

Wow, that's pretty good, hoogleman. fsimpro, if you wanted to start even more basic, try:
image->adjustments->hue/saturation
(set the selection box - where it says "Master" - to the "Cyans"). Fiddle with the settings.
OR
image->adjustments->selective color
(where it says "Colors" in the drop down box, choose "Cyans"). Fiddle with the settings.
This might help a little.
