Hello:

How do you insert text or any other vector shape in an image and make it look real. If you photograph any text on any surface it usually bleeds on the contour. Vector text is too perfect. How do you manipulated the borders of the text to make them look as if they are part of the surface and not included in postproduction. For example I would like to insert numbers in a telephone keypad or a computer keyboard. Any ideas?

thank you

mastix

Check layer style Bevel/Emboss.

Yes I use bevel and emboss but it still does not resolve the natural bleeding that ink has into the surface. I was thinking that maybe an outside glow in dissolve mode and bluring a little the "dissolved" contour.... or do you know another method?
