Hey guys,
I'd like to create a high-contrast mult-color portait similar to the one on this shirt: http://www.backstreet-merch.com/stores/tourdates/product.asp?item=abre14
Any ideas how to achieve that? I know how to adjust contrast and achieve a b/w image that is similar, however if you look close (and I apologize for the crappy image) the different colors follow the lines of the fur and shadows. Thanks!

Its the cutout filter. (Filter > Artistic > Cutout)
To get the colour like the tshirt...
On a new layer above, fill with colour of choice, remembering to keep it fairly light because the colour replaces the white....
Then change the blending mode to darken so the blacks etc beneath should show thru.
The filter was applied last.
