|
|
im ok at photoshop - layers, editing, etc...
but i would like to do the following.
in a picture of ice (or clouds, or sand) i would like to have text or a symbol (from another layer) that appears "as ice" - so it looks subtle "in the ice."
is this a form of masking? how do i do this? i have done masking tutorials but none have helped.
pls help,
M

Add a layer FX to the text as below. The reduce the text layers fill to 0%.
For bumpy uneven surfaces you may need to use the displace filter.
