Afternoon all. My buddy and I have a bike shop and we are planning an upgrade/expansion to a bigger facility for more room, more business and exposure. Fortunately, we have done well enough to keep our heads above the water in these difficult economic times.
With that said, our budgets are very tight right now and we are looking for some help with a new logo for the shop. The old is tired and boring. Without the ability currently to invest in photoshop, nor the skills we our reaching out to you guys.
Being that we are both avid road racers, we were thinking to incorporate some shots of some racers leaning deep into a turn on either side of JCS.(bike shop name) The racers would be facing the JCS on each side if that make sense? Front wheels aimed towards bottom of the JCS. Under that we want this statement:
Serving all your powersports needs!
Hope that is understandable and thank you in advance for any help you can provide.
Thank you,
Poppy |

I create the odd ident, but it's not my bag really (ask anyone who knows), have you thought about trading services or products for other services?
It may (or not) engender more response. Oh and welcome to the forum Poppy828 _________________ If life serves you lemons, make lemonade! |

Tried sending you a PM on this, but don't have enough posts yet. Looks great. Thank you very much for the help and time with this. I wish I knew how to use this type of software.
How easy is it to add some more script or change some colors possibly? In case my partner wants to make some changes? I am not familiar with all of this. I have given GIMP a whirl, but that interface from my experience was not user friendly at all, so I quickly got frustrated and quit trying.
Thank you again.

Well, normally, changing any aspect of the design would be quite simple if the file is saved with all of the layers intact. In this case I merged a lot of the effects so changing one thing would be difficult. Now, if one wanted to expand on this particular logo, I would simply recreate it to spec. After I started it I realized that you wanted a different look, so this was just thrown together for fun. I can customize it if you like. My email address should be found in my profile....if not, I have a contact page on my website which is linked in my signature. _________________ http://www.jmerrittphotorestoration.com/ |
