Hey phtoshop experts, can anyone help me out with this pic? I've been working out to lose some fat off my tummy, and have a little ways to go. I need a goal to motivate me, and although I dont want to look like the situation, I am definitely not happy with what I see infront of me atm.

Not sure if you intended to post a picture or not, but I don't see one here. You can sure email it to me by using the contact info on the link in my signature. Don't worry, I wont charge you to play around with it. :P

Here goes:
Original

I tried my best and came with this which is a) too extreme, and b) not realistic at all. I was hoping for something very subtle, difference wise...

I see what your trying to do. You know, you have a start there...If you have the "abs" on a separate layer, I would try changing the blending mode of that layer to "overlay" and maybe adjust the opacity. It should blend right in! If there is still a subtle visible line around them, try touching it up with the spot healing brush or some gentle clone tool work.

Youronlysin, wanna help me out please? the laptop I'm currently on is really the least suitable piece of equipment to work with, seeing that its touch pad is soooo delicate and fussy. Had I been on a desktop I would have fared better...can you help me out, please?
