|
|
Hello,
I have a need for someone to design a logo for a brass band where the band has been sponsored and I need to add the sponsors logo to the existing one.
My problem is that I only have a jpg of the existing logo but I have an eps version of the sponsors.
Is this possible?

This is the sponsor logo that needs to be incorporated onto the original logo |

Here is the original logo, having the logo on a neutral background is preferable. |

It does support it, it will rasterize the end result, it's a format that as it means Encapsulated Post Script it handles text much better than images..... but regardless!
If you want to combine the two it should be no problem, open them both and drag one to the other.
As you are one of the last great traditional arm of British society and I see know that you have posted in the right section can you send me the files? That, or post them here and let people have a go?
Welcome to the forum btw (by the way - see I'm getting the hang of internet short-cuts, YOS)

Haha! Yeah, I noticed that.
If its an EPS file he has, he wont be able to post it here, more than likely. EPS files are generally very large. I had a customer that wanted all of his edits returned in both Jpeg and EPS format and I had to use a separate file hosting company to get the EPS images to him as some were over 1 GB in size. They were generally ten times the size of their PSD equivelant.

Guys,
Anything that can be done with this?
If not, can the words "Exchange Communications" can be put over the original logo?
Thanks

there is no problem with working with both of these file types in the same document. Ideally, it would be best to just make a vector copy of the original logo. That would take more time of course, meaning more money. I can do whatever you want to do with this. E-mail me if you're interested and we will figure out the specifics.
