I am using Adobe Photoshop CS5. When I click the text tool and type it shows that I typed something in the layer palette but not in and on the project. The only way I can see the text is to free transform the text. How do I fix this problem?

Is the font size set very small or very large? Your clicking and dragging the text window to a size that will display text before you start typing?

Perhaps you have the dimension muddled? Pixels or Point size?
