Hi everyone,
I´m quite experienced in PS but today I started on a project which I just can´t figure out. I´ve made two photo´s of a group, one in which they found a chest, on the other one they´re celebrating. The idea is that the celebration comes out of the box surrounded by colorfull light beams. Here i´ve got three images to illustrate the idea:
Original
Light out of chest
+ light beams
The light beams are really cool on a dark background such as the sand behind yellow beam. The problem however is that the snow is too white and the beam isn't visible anymore...! I just don't know what to do, i tried to darken it with the burn tool but it never looks as good. Does anyone of you has an idea to help me out? I'd be gratefull

Duplicate your beam layer and change the blend mode to color in the snowy areas and mask the rest out. Or create a better beam that you don't have to use blend modes with |
