My wife is a professional photographer. Sometimes she sees ideas from other photographers and wants to try similar effects.
Anyway, she would like to edit some of her baby photos so that the blanket the child is on will continue on in a shade of that color. For example, lets say she's shooting the baby on a beige blanket but in the background you see dark-stained hardwood floors and a white wall.
Does anybody know how to fade from the blanket out to continue that color through the rest of the picture and cover up the hardwood and wall color?
If I'm not explaining it well enough I'll try to find a picture to post.
I've tried searches on Youtube but I just can't seem to find something to cover what we're looking for. Thanks if anybody out there has ideas on how to do this. |

You'll stand a better chance of getting help by posting an image you need to edit. |
