Does anyone have any idea? could I do this with some layers or is there maybe a 3rd party filter? I love CD art and I do it for friends, just trying to get additional tips.

I mean the effect on the skin, very high contrast but still clear to see details... and the large light in the middle, Iv never been able to get that glow right like in the picture. Im sure one of you knows, thanks for the replies btw guys, not much action on these forums until now.
