Hello all,
A friend asked me to design a sticker for him, which he will place on his car.
The design was finished and I saved the PSD onto a DVD so he could take it to the printers.
The printer guy said to my friend that the artwork needed 'contours' for him to be able to print it.
The sticker is an odd shape (for illustrative purposes, imagine a star shape if you will), and the artwork/sticker is to be cut out to that shape.
My friend asked how could that be achieved, and the printer guy said, "With InDesign".
I have access to InDesign, never used it though. So I go to an InDesign forum and ask there... No one was able to help. One member there mentioned that it may actually be something that is to be done in PS, like a clipping path...
How could that be done?
More importantly, if anyone knows what a 'contour' is, and how I could apply one, I would rather that as an answer
Thank you for all your help from now
Warm Regards,
