I have seen a few photoshoped photos where they have converted a person or character to look as if they were smoke coming from a specific source. I am new to photoshop and have tried the tutorials. Is there anyone out there who could convert this picture to something similar with the skier in this picture onto a black back ground?

what exactly are you looking for?
the background cut out and the skiier placed onto the black background... the skiier in a black background with smoke comming out of a specific place... its easy enough to do, i just cant seem to figure out what you are looking for?
