Using PHP CS3 on PowerMac OSX 4.1.1.

Problem:
Been using PHP for 20+ years, never had this problem. Have contacted Adobe, which answer was, I have to update to CS5, which won't run on my version OSX nor my machine.

Worked for a couple of hours, then shut down, came back to project later. This just "popped up" without changing anything nor adding plug-ins. If you go under File, Edit, Image, etc. I now have these highlighted bars (light purple) on certain random files that are in use or not.

Example: Under Image- Have only Mode, Variables, Apply Data Set, & Trap that have these bars.

Have searched all over in PHP CS3 for something that "clicked" on. Nothing. So I thought it could be a virus, ran virus check, nothing. Ran Disk Utilities, nothing. I even, un-installed then re-installed software, nothing. The bars are still there. The software still works normally.

What happen? How do I undo this or turn this off? Please help me.

I think this is what you want:

Go to Edit-Menus. You can change menu colors from there. I'm on Windows, I assume it's the same for Mac.

Note the last line at the bottom to turn off menu colors in preferences it says under General, but in CS5 it's under Interface.

Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou! :) It was driving me NUTS!!!

I still don't know why this happened and how & why it did? I never knew that this existed before. Any way if this happens again, I'll know what to do.

Thankyou again. Big Wink

And Adobe told you to update to CS5 as the only solution? That really instills my confidence in their tech support.

They also "advised" me to

Hey, my PowerMac G4 Dual Mirror works just fine with my three internal 350 Gigabytes hard drives, two super drives, w/extra external dram support, with three other drives (zip, disk, etc.), my new 27" Samsung screen and my APS 1250 Back UPS, thank you. Big Grin
