Hey everyone new to the forum. I went to the largest gathering of B17's the 2010 Thunder over Michigan. I took this picture of the Three horsemen P51 Flight team. My co worker couldnt go and was really disappointed and gave me his tickets and I am trying to get this picture done right so i can print a poster for him.

I have done everything in my power to get this picture to fly and i cant do it. I took this with my Rebel 350TX 18-55mm lens. I think i have the right angle but the over cast was so crappy that day. I need some help.

I have recreated the original into something really really fast no effort. Basically i need help with either the original or taking a different cloud picture from the web. In example #2.
The problems i am running into is that when i use a web picture like in example #2 I have to reduce the size and i dont want to do that if i am going to get a nice poster of this.

So i need some assistance to get this looking good !!!

You're right, I think a new sky is the way to go. But you'll need to find a full-res sky image, or take one yourself, if you have nice skies where you are.
