Hey there, first time poster.
I'm still relatively new to Photoshop. While I've become quite familiar with Lightroom and do most of my editing within it, I am trying to play more and more with photoshop and improve my skills. Therefore, there's a lot of stuff that I struggle with, and here's one.
Currently, I'm trying to use a sharpening filter, and it doesn't seem to do anything. As this is one that I use more often, I've noticed it most with this, but other filters also appear to do nothing. The sliders move and such, however no change is made, and when I press OKAY, no new layer appears as does with any other adjustments I normally make. I have the feeling there's probably one small mistake I'm making that should be obvious and apparent, however I have no idea.
Any help that you could provide to a nood would be greatly appreciated!
