|
|
Hi folks, first post so I hope I got it in the right forum....
Apologies for the long description I'm looking for but - if you punch in "Last Chance to See Douglas Adams" into Googles image search and find a front page image of the book, then look towards the bottom of the book there are some very 'computery' graphics like icons.
I have some higher resolution and much higher color depth graphics that I want to try and give this 'retro' effect to. I have tried just lowering the number of colors and resolution in Photoshop CS3 but I lose too much detail to actually see what the graphics are. Just for example, I have a globe like a high res version of the Internet Explorer logo. How can I achieve this effect on my globe?
If anyone provides a visible example I would like a white background to work against rather than the black on the book (I know that the glow may be a little different because of this).
Thanks in advance for any advice given.

Auieos thanks so much. Can't believe it was that easy. There are so many functions on photoshop it's difficult to know which to use and I had been going through a lot of different processes (like pixelating and blurring and placing thin white lines between the pixels....). Really appreciate it man, thanks.
