Can someone tell me how to create these (see the attachment) waves?

I've already searched for a tutorial, but couldn't find one.

i normally use brushes to achieve these sort of waves.. there is a few which are downloadable for free across the web

those waves to create could use brushes. because the other ways maybe are more complicated. that web site these waves they've got from a texture
