hi guys, im new to the forum and am looking for some help. I have a picture of a fire engine which is my main logo on my forum and i want to make it so the blue lights flash. I've been trying on photoshop but with no joy. If anyone could help me I would be really grateful

That's cool, thanks a lot. I was thinking that it may be useful to have just the truck with text excluded, so you can edit the text separately and just have the 2 images place together on the website. So here it is. |

Thanks mate, this is very helpful, the problem I have is that my header background is dark and this pic looks good on a white or light background. not sure weather a change of teh background from transparent to white would fix this or whether i need a new header?
I have posted the pic in a thread on my forum and the users love it |

Hey thanks guys. Yep the black on black is hard to read. You can change it using layer fx down the bottom of the layers tab. Here is an example which should work fine, I gave the text a white 'stroke' to outline it against black. |

Thats perfect!! will look great, im just looking in to how to add 2 images to the header on my forum so I can have the engine and the text, thanks again for your help |

Also I changed both the text and the logo to suit the darker
background. And also change the fire truck to a few flashes then it
stops. Not many people like flashing images on webpages so now it
should appear as more of a gimmick when the page loads. oh and the fire truck flash is darker blue not aqua.
