I have riffed off the design above and instead of a cockerel have included a more formal dais and speaker with crowd format. Crowd & speaker can be made to encroach on speech bubble as demonstrated on the right or enclosed as the left of picture. Speech bubble can be altered/rotated etc...

As always just a preliminary rough outline. I realise the megaphone is weak it's just for placement ;)

Thank you, Auieos and Mike. :) I appreciate it.

Auieos, haha, yeah... maybe one day I'll get behind one. :)

I feel like there might be some potential in your 2nd and 3rd images (of those last 3 posted). It's hard for me to say without them being rendered further (and I can certainly understand if you don't want to invest time to render them further). :) Thanks again.

Mike, the concept of the crowd within the speech bubble might work. I do think I like them better contained in the bubble.

If you have the time, wouldn't mind seeing it developed further beyond the rough outline. Maybe to develop the idea of the stage a bit more and the microphone/megaphone (maybe a mic would work better, not sure). I'm not sure if I like the idea of pawns or not... going to let it roll around. But, if you have any rough ideas on how the crowd could be rendered, please feel free to suggest them.

Thanks again.

Patrick

Patrick, Steve Jobs would be proud of you not using one. :)

Ill give it a go. I notice all the logos you have provided as examples are 'matte' and web 2.0 styles often have a 3D or glossy look. So i was wondering which way to go.

@ Hermit nice logo, I like the idea of old non-electronic megaphone, yelling off the soap box type theme.

Haha, if you say so. :) I keep slides light and prefer to talk, just my general style. :) Thanks Auieos.

hehe ok went with my personal favorite :P

Here is a bit more. 1st pic is a quick colour of last. Was thinking 2nd pic could be used on index page in conjunction with hotspotting over each of the people showing the info in the center.

Thanks Auieos. :) I appreciate it.

I think that this has some potential, based on the styling of it (not really a fan of the first coloring, above, but no worries). But, I just realized that there may be some correlation made between this logo and the logo of a friend of mine, Jason Falls of Social Media Explorer. See: http://www.socialmediaexplorer.com

I may need to check with him, out of respect for a friend, just to ensure they aren't too confusing. :)

Thanks again,

Patrick

All good. :) Yeah they are pretty close, I guess there's not that many unique symbols of social media. The font, lack of capitals doesn't help either.

Anyway ill leave it for the time being and wait for you to check with your friend. Just shout out when your ready.

Thanks Auieos. I haven't asked him, yet, but it probably would be best to go in a different direction with it, just so that others don't make the connection, either. :)

Thanks again,

Patrick

You don't know how many rainbowed people, hugging/holding hands/in a ring/in a bubble combinations I have gone through either ;) There's not a cliché I haven't travelled.

(Not to say yours was a cliché you understand!)

lol yeah no worries Patrick. It was very similar :)

I have another ring bubble combo which seems as cliche as the last one but what the hell. And yeah Hermit, it would be good if there was some sort of logo originality/copyright checker for times like this.

If either of you bored type in 'Similar Logos' google image search, some interesting results. :)
