Is there a way to rotate a shape in Photoshop without the edges distorting?
When you make a rectangle or square in Photoshop, the edges are totally straight and smooth. But if you rotate it, the edges become distorted. Is there a way to make the edges smooth again like the edges on squares and rectangles in Photoshop?
I have to use a canvas size of 512 X 512. I'm making a pennat design, but everytime I rotate a shape on it so the shape will be slanted (a slanted rectangle), the edges become distorted. I can't figure out how to make the edges just as smooth as they were before I rotated the rectangle shape. |

Pixels are square so it's not really possible to eliminate jagged edges completely on angles or curves. Using anti-alias helps disguise the effect. |

If it's a simple shape draw it with the Pen Tool. _________________ If life serves you lemons, make lemonade! |
