So, I am new to using pen tool. I have watched some tutorials to learn the basics, but I am having some problems. Every time I start using my pen tool my selected area gets filled in with a default color. I cannot figure out how to make it go away. I am using cs2 if that helps. Suggestions, answers, etc is much appreciated.

Make sure that you have Paths selected in the Context Sensitive Menu at the top. Sounds like you have Shape Layers selected.

Thank you. Do you have any tips for changing backgrounds, with other ones such as digital backgrounds? Lasso, pen tool, or magic wand?
