Hi!

Hope someone can help

I am currently using Windows Ultimate 7 64bit and currently on Photoshop CS4..

I have the following image:

I want to cut the image cage (mesh) .. make it all white.. is there a better way than the pen tool as it can take days and hours to do.. it's sooo time consuming.. the wand/selection tools already are useless at this stage.. been looking at Fluid Mask 3 but was wondering anyones professional advice?

Thanks

You could mask out areas that you want keeping white and choose Select>Colour Range>Highlights.

Sorry, just re-read post and I see that you want something entirely different.

I can't conceive of any quick way to select just the mesh.

An alternitive would be to get some stock photos of chain link and composite them into the photograph.

Thanks for all your replies everyone! Much appreciated!

I also posted on team photoshop but no luck. We are going to settle with blurring the image and just settling with blurring the background out - even though most mesh will cut out. I have been using PS for years so I always like when I am challenged like this. For personal reasons I may just get the stock mesh for the cages and do it myself. We have been meaning to setup a studio room in the warehouse with all whites but this is HUGE product. The image does not do justice to the size.

Again thanks. I think I am here to stay to help out and learn, great community.
